Donny Davis, a 43-year-old comedian who worked with celebrities like Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus, died on Tuesday in Las Vegas. Until the entire autopsy report is released, the cause of death is unknown. Las Vegas is a popular tourist destination. According to CBS station KLAS, Davis was found dead inside his room at the Resorts World hotel and casino in Las Vegas just before 6 a.m. today.

Davis was a Vegas mainstay, performing for stars like Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Seth McFarland, Joe Jonas, and others. He was a longtime member of the Hollywood and Las Vegas nightclub variety show Beacher’s Madhouse, known as “Mini-Trump.” He has appeared on Chelsea Lately on several occasions, performed as a comedian and dancer for Britney Spears’ 2013 Las Vegas residency, and was a longtime member of the Beacher’s Madhouse, where he was known as “Mini-Trump.” During Spears’ first Vegas engagement, which lasted approximately 250 shows, he was chosen to join her dance troupe. He was also a series regular on Chelsea Handler’s “Chelsea Lately.”

“Donny shattered limits in the little people world and was an inspiration to his peers,” said Jeff Beacher, founder, and proprietor of the vaudeville-style extravaganza Beacher’s Madhouse, according to TMZ. “Sorry everyone, I can’t chat right now,” Beacher said in an Instagram Story video. I’m at a loss for words. “Everything revolved around Donny.”
Demi Lovato, a singer and actress paid tribute to Davis on Instagram Stories with a series of beautiful photos. She captioned a shot of the two sharing a sweet kiss, “Rip.” She also included an Emoji of a crushed heart.
“Thanks for so many laughs and beautiful memories – rest quietly angel,” she wrote next to a photo of Davis dressed as Santa Claus. “Everyone that met you adored you, and I’m so glad to have had you in my life and to call you a friend,” comedian and friend Steven Briggs wrote on Instagram in a tribute to Davis.
